Input signal: square or sinwave?

Hello if I am using a square inverter do I need any different transformer as if I use a sinwave one? Can I use the same transformer for both inverters?

If you have the core selection, material and number of turns, and you use a square wave it gives a 11% more flux density than sinewave with the same values of voltage and frequency.

Ok so if if i have:

1. sinwave inverter having 500W with 50Hz

2. square wave inverter having 500W with 50Hz

can I use the same transformer for both conditions right?

Yes the same transformer will work. 
 
With sine waves the primary will need to be driven with a PWM sine wave signal. 
With square waves the primary is just switched on and off.
