Input signal: square or sinwave?
Hello if I am using a square inverter do I need any different transformer as if I use a sinwave one? Can I use the same transformer for both inverters?

evanfrdhs says:You dont need any different transformer, you can use the same if the average voltages and frequencies are the same. You just have to be careful with the flux density, you might be aware of no exceeding the maximum flux density Bm.
If you have the core selection, material and number of turns, and you use a square wave it gives a 11% more flux density than sinewave with the same values of voltage and frequency.

With square waves the primary is just switched on and off.
